So yeah, oftentimes things are needed to be reviewed by several different departments across our organization.
So before we had a process in place with Lytho, everything was very manual for routing purposes.
So an asset or a text volume, whatever, might be on five different people’s desks at one time.
People providing different comments that, was it a suggestion? Was it an actual edit that needed to be made? It was very inefficient and made it very difficult.
And thank goodness before COVID hit and we all went home, we had already started in the process of onboarding with Lytho.
So having that process in place has helped us to effectively manage the feedback from all departments, including our compliance team, reducing the whole time that it takes us to get from a creative concept to the final approved asset.
So I think one of the biggest lessons for us has been just the value of clarity and predictability in that review process.
Early on, we had a lot of delays that came from questions around timelines or ownership or who needed to know what, when, who needed to be involved. So having created those guidelines ahead of time, it was a process and it’s still a process. You learn as you go.
But over time, we’ve become much more intentional about defining our workflows, setting realistic timelines, and clarifying the responsibilities across the teams that we’re supporting in the organization.
So once people understood that process and expectations have become more clear, our reviews are moving faster.
