About Florida Tech
Founded in 1958 to support NASA’s space program, Florida Tech is a private STEM-focused university offering 150+ degrees across four colleges. Its 16-member MarComm team manages creative requests from students, staff, faculty, and alumni, ensuring brand visibility and consistency across diverse programs and audiences.
Disconnected brand elements weakened visibility
As Florida Tech approached its 60th anniversary, the university recognized that inconsistent branding and fragmented processes limited recognition among prospective students and partners. Logos did not scale well, requests lacked structure, and decentralized asset storage made retrieval difficult. Without a unified system, creative intake and approvals were cumbersome, and maintaining compliance around student images and usage rights was a challenge.
Centralized workflows and DAM strengthened brand consistency
Florida Tech adopted Lytho to unify creative intake, proofing, approvals, and asset management. Request forms now consolidate project details up front, reducing back-and-forth and improving transparency for stakeholders. Lytho Workflow centralizes proofing and review, enabling clear communication, audit-ready decision trails, and alignment with brand policies. With Digital Asset Management, tagged images and linked photo releases simplify compliance and accelerate retrieval. The team also uses smart templates to empower more users to produce on-brand assets while maintaining consistency.
