The session opened with a fast-paced journey through the history of content creation, from the printing press to photography to digital media and now generative AI. Each leap lowered the barrier to creation — and AI removed it entirely. The result is a world where content volume, channels, and contributors have outpaced the systems designed to manage them.

From there, the conversation shifted to a practical reframing: content behaves like a supply chain. Intake, creation, review, storage, reuse, and retirement all need to work together as one system. Jaime and Helen emphasized that most organizations are leaving value on the table by chasing net-new content instead of reusing, localizing, and extending what they already have — especially in high-impact motions like account-based marketing.

The session closed with a forward-looking view of applied AI.
