What Is iPaaS? The Exciting World of Integration Platform as a Service

What Is iPaaS and How Does it Work?

Did you know that the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry has a twin? Not identical, of course, but a twin, nonetheless. It is called Integration Platform as a Service or iPaaS. Whereas SaaS companies create innovative solutions that disrupt and revolutionize multiple industries, iPaaS solutions help connect the dots between SaaS solutions. The result? You gain seamless governance and communication across all platforms, applications, and organizations.

iPaaS is a suite of cloud services that enable the development, execution, and governance of integration flows. Such services connect limitless combinations of cloud-based processes, services, applications, and data. They can do so for an individual or across multiple organizations. In simpler terms, iPaaS is a type of software that helps end-users connect apps through a code-light interface.

Zapier: Lytho’s Latest iPaaS

Zapier is an iPaaS software service that allows non-technical users to connect two or more applications using if/then statements instead of code. As a result, users can automate processes for productivity gains without a developer’s help. With Zapier, you can connect with 5,000+ of the web’s top apps, including the critical business tools you use every day. How is this possible? With the use of Zaps – Zapier’s automated workflows – built directly in the intuitive editor.

Start connecting Lytho to the other tools in your tech stack in just a few clicks and perform up to 100 actions in a single Zap, automating the busywork so you can focus on the work that matters.

How Can You Benefit from Lytho’s Zapier Integration?

Is Zapier Free?

Lytho customers can start with a free account, which allows them up to 5 single step zaps and 100 tasks per month. For additional zap volume, complex zaps, premium apps, additional users, or other scenarios, they will need a paid Zapier account. See their pricing page here.

Are All Apps in the Zapier Marketplace Free to Use?

No. Some apps are considered premium and require a paid Zapier app to add to a Zap. Additionally, some companies may choose to charge for Zapier either by API call or as a flat rate. These are the two paid models Zapier supports for their partner and require partners to disclose that when applying for public availability. How other companies choose to monetize their Zapier App is out of Lytho’s control.
